Emily was born in Dublin, Ireland. In 2007 Emily graduated in Ceramics from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Moving to London in 2010, she completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins in 2011 and graduated from Camberwell College of Arts with a M.A in Fine Art 2012.
Emily has exhibited in Dublin, London, San Francisco, Washington D.C, New York and Malta. She completed a residency in 2006 in Hungary specializing in Large-scale ceramics. In 2012 she completed a residency in Malta focusing on heritage and folklore and another residency in Spain where she focused on art and the environment.
She was nominated for and won the ‘Going Solo Award’ From Meath Arts Council in 2009 where her work is now part of their permanent collection. Her work is part of many private collections as well as being purchased for Irish life’s permanent collection. She created Implicate Collabrative with Jill french earlier this year. They will exhibit in MART gallery in Dublin this October.
